“Thank God for our form of government. The media won’t let there be any cover-up.”
John McCain

Great winter issue, if I do say so myself. New writers, new advertisers, old advertisers coming back. I guess the anti-free speech in Lakewood movement is really helping the LO! The one place open to everyone who can step up and take ownership of their words, ideas, stories, images and opinions.

It is also great to see people stepping up to do restaurant and food reviews with our partnership with Foodwood! We have already paid for one meal, perhaps you can be the next person to get a meal out of us, I sure hope so. Over $2,500 has been pledged to this effort in this first year! Like they say with the ringing of the dinner bell, come and get it, first come first served.

In 2018 we have dedicated ourselves to being the most open, most loving project in this city, and this is just the first step! Next up, a Lakewood Photography contest, get you cameras ready!

As always thank you to all the advertisers, editors, asst editors, sales reps, writers, photographers, delivery crew, and readers. This year we are going to have some serious FUN!
