When I drive south on Sloane Subway to Sloane Ave after ever snow, there is a huge pile of snow that in is front of the stacked containers development that is out into the street blocking your vision from north bound traffic at this intersection. This is dangerous and illegal for them to pile snow into the street. It appears that the city administration justifies Clifton Pointe pushing snow into the street since the rich have a tax abatement. Before an accident occurs, perhaps one of the inept and inert city employees could call the condo association and advise them to inform their snowplow contractor that he is breaking the law.
I would never accuse City of Lakewood Mayor or City Council of stealing when sheer ignorance will suffice, but how did the ever get the name Clifton Pointe, for this diabolical looking architectural blunder that is reminiscent of the 1960's, missing only the orange paint? It is not in Clifton Park, it is not on Clifton Road, it is not West Clifton and it is not on Clifton Boulevard nor is it contiguous to one of these streets. It may be helpful if a thoughtful resident could provide the Planning Commission and Council a map of the city that they pretend to represent.
