If Fitzgerald Can't Be Trusted in Columbus for 4 Years, Why Trust Him For "Once in 50 Year Opportunity" In Lakewood?

Post by Brian Essi »

Why is Lakewood trusting a ONCE IN 50 YEAR OPPORTUNITY to Fitzgerald who could not be trusted 4 years in Columbus?

Fitzgerald could not keep his long term wedding vows either.

Why would City Council risk our future?

Why would Build Lakewood take such a risk with their precious city block?

Think about it.

From the 2016 CAFR page ix: http://www.onelakewood.com/wp-content/u ... yahoga.pdf

"The redevelopment of the 5.7 acres is a once-in-a-50-year opportunity that will likely become a new mixed use development with tens of
millions in post construction value."

From Crains http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/ ... pital-site

Summers said in a phone interview. "We have a 50- to 100-year view of the project. We have to get this right. They take a long-term view of this project. That to me was very compelling."
