I was going downtown, the real one, Cleveland, not Lakewood's to see some snowy owls that have come to our Northcoast in large numbers this year. Suddenly as I was driving past Bunts and Clifton Blvd. the damnedest thing appeared in my line of sight.
It was so shocking, and amazing it didn't even register in my mind for another block or two.
Something you just never think you will see in your lifetime, but damn, there it was.
Someone had thrown out a toilet on the tree lawn, which by itself is not amazing or worth coming back for.
But sitting on it was a dinosaur!
I kid you not, and with the dinosaur was a man taking a picture of it!
Now that is amazing!

It slowed me down enough that by the time I got down to the snowy owls light was failing, but it was worth it.
We saw a couple owls but most were way out on the break wall, but here is one from Whiskey Island.
If you get a chance head down to Edgewater Park, or Burke Lakefront Airport and check them out, they are beautiful birds.
