With the all of the absentee and provisional ballots counted Tom Bullock lead over Cindy Marx has shrunken to just 16 votes.

Recount should start this afternoon.

Interesting, but they would merely declare Nowlin the winner. Or Bullock moves and cannot complete his term, they appoint Nowlin. OR they make an extra seat for the votes they need and appoint Nowlin.

I ran into someone that voted for both Marx and Bullock yesterday, she would love one of those votes back now.

No matter, the recount will now take place on December 7th, at 9:30am.

It will be an uphill battle for Marx to find 15 the combination to 14/15 votes. Even finding 4 to discard, and 4 to change, and 7 to???? Uphill battle.

At that point Bullock claims a mandate for his personal for of political BS and gets read to run for, move to, whatever.

I wonder how many others would change their votes now?

Both were integral part of the cover-up by City Hall for over two years. Not only did they turn their back on openness and transparency, but work overtime to hide and normalize the Kentucky hillbilly.

But I give the edge to Marx who proudly sent his check back to him.

14 votes is a mountain to overcome.

Wishful thinking.
He's already got ten years invested at Lakewood City Council....he's too old and has been around too long to magically re-invent himself somewhere else.

I expect him to stay here and continue working the "Team Summers" machine to get any sort of advancement he can.
I expect Summers to step down before his term ends.....that could be an appointment that he's aiming for.
Needless to say, if Bullock were to become Mayor, this town is doomed.

Tom Bullock has ten years invested/squandered at Lakewood City Council.
He is too old in every way imaginable . He has been around too long. The rot is palpable.
There will be no reinventing of Tom Bullock anywhere at any time. Bridget Conant has it right, he is toast.
