It would seem that the Lakewood Task Force in charge of putting together the new Foundation has forgotten to invite Lakewood Observers to the next Task Force meeting. I would like to remind each and every one of you that it is important to attend each meeting to make sure they stay on track and build intelligently and effectively off of the last meeting.
I still look forward to the white papers and questions being published along with the tapes of each table being available to the public.

Re: Next New Foundation Meeting November 15th
There are several fundamental questions that need to be answered for the public in short order:
QUESTION: Should the New Foundation have government participation or government supervision or should the New Foundation be independent of government participation or government supervision?
QUESTION: Will Lakewood City Council have any input on New Foundation formation by way of resolution or ordinance or was this all concluded by the vote that took place on December 21, 2015 to adopt the Master Agreement?
QUESTION: Will the Cleveland Clinic Foundation or Lakewood Hospital Association have any input on the New Foundation formation and will there be public participation during that process?

Jim--Do you mean December 15th?
Mark-- I think each of those questions should be
answered before they go on to any others.

Jim--Our next full task force meeting is this Wednesday, November 29. The next is Thursday, December 14. I'm not sure what you're referencing otherwise. The calendar of our meetings is posted at onelakewood.comJim O'Bryan wrote:It would seem that the Lakewood Task Force in charge of putting together the new Foundation has forgotten to invite Lakewood Observers to the next Task Force meeting. As for questions Mark & others have posted (including our community discussion page), we're working on those.
