On A Cold Rainy October Day, Lakewood Honor Society...

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

... joined with members of LakewoodAlive, and Lakewood City workers, to remulch all of the trees in and around Birdtown.

Here LakewoodAlive's Mark McNamara, works with some of the brightest young adults from LHS to make Madison Avenue a little nicer for all.

While on the other side of the street, moving slightly slower than Mark's crew as pointed out by them, is LakewoodAlive's Ian Andrews working with his crew.

Lakewood City crews always with a smile were busy driving and moving tons of mulch into the wheel barrows of Lakewood's smartest.

Thank you to Lakewood High Honor Society, LakewoodAlive, and Lakewood City Street Crews for the wonderful effort on a cold wet day.

It's great to see Lakewood being beautified and cleaned up. Hats off to the volunteers and workers that made it possible.
