I apparently violated a double-top secret rule of the city's fake FB Lakewood Community page by sharing this thread on the original FB Lakewood page and have been removed from the former. So they are threatened now by anyone stating a contrary opinion anywhere?

This insanity is being noticed by people who at one time supported this administration and thought Mike Summers was a nice guy. The are quickly learning he and his administration are not nice at all.

I am very interested in collapsing that FB group as well. I left it voluntarily long ago when I started to see Jenn Pae asking whether people thought there was a need for the Lakewood Observer to continue to exist. I asked her which other businesses she was going to ask for public opinion on. She told me I was aggravating her by speaking up whenever she did these underhanded things.

This is so outside the bounds of acceptable behavior.

Attack a Lakewood business because you have an agenda.

Stifle free speech.

Pretend a Facebook group is merely a social activity when it's CLEARLY being run BY a city employee FOR the city so that they can control the conversation.

I could not agree more.

The behavior evidently exhibited by Ms. Pae is much below the level of a city Finance Director. I suspect that if Finance Directors in other cities were exhibiting this type of behavior, those Finance Directors was be reprimanded and then terminated if the behavior continued.

Businesses are always subject to criticism. Criticizing a business with evidence/proof of wrongdoing or sharing a bad personal experience is one thing. Attacking a business based on what seems to be a vendetta against the owner (s) or principles the business stands on is highly disturbing and is contrary to free market and basic democratic principles.

As a side note, when is Ms. Pae making posts or otherwise conducting business on the website in question? If it is during normal work hours (perhaps excluding lunch times), that is even more disturbing, and in most cities would warrant reprimand and/or termination.

There is simply no basis for a government employee to attempt to manage and control the content of citizen speech that is addressed to commonly recognized public issues. This is core First Amendment stuff. They can't do it to newspapers. They can't do it to social media participants. They can't do it by proxy either.

These are some of the many documents the City of Lakewood would not produce. Time sheets, and logs from City of Lakewood computers used by Jenn Pae, Rick Uldricks, and Colin McEwen. First claiming attorney client privilege, then claiming only the FBI can access these files. Oddly enough the police were able to access them, and if you look in my Cease and Desist to the City of Lakewood, you can read how "Mr Uldricks is obsessed with the Lakewood Observer."

You can see some of his posts, line up perfectly with attacks on Michael Skindell, and Fake stories about Mike, while working.

Jenn Pae cried foul, saying Mr. Essi and Matt Markling wanted to see her personal email. 1) That was a lie, and she knew it. 2) There is no such thing as personal email on City owned computers, phones, etc.. This would be true for most corporations as well.

What I'm really struck by is how does a boorish mediocrity like Jen Pae get to put her jackboot on the throat of free speech.
Who condoned this? When did this become acceptable? How did Lakewood get here?
