Summers "Emotionally Attached" To Factory "Bricks and Mortar" But Not Hospital

Post by Brian Essi »

Summers doesn't know what's going on in Lakewood business, but he's emotionally attached to a factory that is older than the Hospital was.

Recall that Summers and Kelley Anne Pae falsely accused SLH supports of being "emotionally attached" to the bricks and mortar of the hospital---which they weren't.

From the article below:

"Lakewood Mayor Mike Summers was surprised to hear about the new company, but said it was exciting that Lakewood was now its headquarters. The plant on Madison Avenue has a lot of "historical importance" to the city, as it was originally a draw for the immigrant population.

"We're very emotionally attached to it," Summers said."

So Big Daddy Summers is emotionally attached to a factory built in 1886. Hmmm

You can't make this stuff up. I don't know that he knows what they do unless they're members of Wirenet.

It is to bad that the building wasn't sold to the Feds for a new prison.

I believe our corrupt city officials, school board officials, and friends, would appreciate serving their sentences close to home!

Parma too was emotionally attached to GrafTech as witnessed in articles in our sister publication the Parma Observer.

Mayor Delivers First State Of The City Address At GrafTech

Then...

MAYOR DEGEETER ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF STATE FUNDS FOR GRAFTECH INTERNATIONAL IN PARMA

And then, but of course...

Parma-based GrafTech International announces plans to layoff 50 employees and leave the city

Today the entire building is empty and the entire lot is for sale.

Parma is just like Lakewood, as it appears that it is run by a bunch of criminals that, like our mayor, council, school board and friends, should all be in the pen!

Lori

While county politics have overflowed into Parma, I think this was just a corporation doing what corporations do. Take whatever they can get, then cash out.

Here at the LO we have always pointed out that, while a mom and pop place will fight through the tough times to keep going, corporations, can exert unfair outside muscle and wealth to drive out others, than pack up and move on when it suits them. Throw in the fact that every city is fighting with other city for any commercial enterprise, offering cash, tax cuts, free land, etc. If you were a corporation why would you not take the money and run? Or more to the point, you would be negligent to your stock holders to not grab the easy profits.

"You cannot buy friends, merely business partners with $$$$$$, and they leave when the $$$$$$ dry up, or they get a better offer." old Chinese proverb I believe.

So, this is sort of like the 120 million that our city officials allegedly stole from us.

Business partners, maybe, criminals, more than likely.
