OK Let's Look At Some Differences

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

People in the past have complained how some members of the Observation Deck deliver their comments. This group of residents, are often faulted for hyperbole, personal comments, and many other things. But rarely if ever is their honesty or the facts presented ever challenged. In every other place Lakewoodites can post or discuss the city, but their comments are edited, deleted, or thrown away.

Here on the Observation Deck, we take another turn, we find very qualified volunteers to look at what is being talked about, and explain to us, what is really being said without the hyperbole.

Such is the case with Mark Kindt, a person that has sat in the sidelines for most of his adult life here in Lakewood. With a long and illustrious career in government, with the Democratic Party, and working many jobs like Asst. Attorney General for Ohio, Asst. Attorney General for West Virginia, the Department of Justice in Cleveland. He brings his unbiased professional knowledge to this discussion board, in an effort to help all of us understand what other Observers are bringing to light. Hopefully bringing into focus enough real information that each of us can make up our own minds to how this information effects ourselves, our family and this community.

No other place in Lakewood, is as open, is as honest, and is so dedicated to helping all Lakewoodites understand what is happening, and how it could affect you and your family. This has been our mission from day one, and continues on, uninterrupted, though many have desperately tried to shut down the discussion, the paper, and this project.

Thank you to all that take part. Especially those, that are working day and night to shed some light on what the hell is going on in this city.

CORRECTION: My time with the U.S. Department of Justice and with the Federal Trade Commission was spent in Cleveland.
