Bullock, Nowlin and Marx Helped Force Premier Physicians to Build Brand New Specialty Hospital In Beachwood

Post by Brian Essi »

Lakewood has a little beach where people fight in court over picnic tables, but Beachwood will now have three hospitals.

Premier Physicians wanted to be a part of Lakewood Hospital, but Bullock, Marx, Nowlin et al, rejected Premier's $100M investment in Lakewood to keep a 150-180 beds.

So, with the Marx, Bullock, Nowlin, et al. non compete covering gutted building formerly known and Lakewood Hospital, Premier Physicians has announced it will build a new hospital in Beachwood--right down the street from UH and CCF.

Bullock, Marx, Nowlin----kick them to the curb this November.

So many opportunities to improve health care options in Lakewood yet all were ignored.

How did the Cleveland Clinic buy our mayor, our council, and our School Board?

Answer: With promises of a wealth transfer to a spurious "to be named later" future non-profit. Taxpayers lose; private parties gain. That's how privatization always works.

I believe that the Summer's Gang told the clinic that they wanted them out. In exchange for them vacating the hospital, CCF now gets a new building in Lakewood housing the resident training program for family medicine students, which we paid for, a brand new all expenses paid for profit clinic in the middle of Lakewood High School, and a non-complete clause.
