Finally, Lakewood cuts the ribbon on Lakewood High School rebuilding. The dream is complete!

We had photographers, students, and writers covering this long awaited event. They will be posted and in the upcoming paper.

Attendees at last night's event were told that the Cleveland Clinic Health Center at LHS will eventually be "open to the public."

Note from the attached plan in the opening ceremony brochure that there appears to be an entrance through the vestibule area for public access to the first floor of "the Cleveland Clinic's space." My sources say that the Clinic will pay no rent for this medical office space it will use to make a profit and edge out their healthcare competitors in Lakewood.

Is it possible that they will be staffing and treating for free? Maybe there is tit-for-tat somewhere that we don't realize yet. It's possible this can be a really great thing.

Cleveland Clinic does nothing for free.

They've already stated that they will be billing the student's insurance company.

This is an effort to capture and control a market, nothing altruistic.
