Hey gang--- Jerry Lewis's son- Gary of Gary Lewis and the Playboys lived in Lakewood for awhile on Lakeland between Hilliard and Detroit. The band did some reasonable covers of popular hits.

Re: Jerry Lewis
I never understood why Gary Lewis lived here.
The music business has never been centered in Cleveland, and his father was never connected to Cleveland.
He could obviously afford to live anywhere he wanted (Vegas, LA, New York)...what was he doing here?

gettin' the band reorganized? and-- Cleveland has always been a really good place for bands trying out their chops. Check out Betsy's son's columns for verification.

Little know fact: Alvin and the Chipmunks covered "This Diamond Ring" on their 1965 Chipmunks A-Go-Go album.

I just hope we finally get to see "The Day the Clown Cried".
It's the Holy Grail of forbidden cinema.
