Where Did A Post Go - Missing?

Post by Bridget Conant »

Jim, where is the post about the woman associated with the Build Lakewood group who "reported" about driving by your home and purportedly saw Marguerite Harkness leaving your home and felt it important to communicate that to the city hall/BL group?

Her email to the group was included in the recent City Hall email dump.

There was a thread commenting on how weird it was and that it had been concerning that she worked for a First Federal of Lakewood, a place where you do business.

Where did that thread go? And why? I think it's important to see how these people operate and conduct themselves.

Here is the email I posted in the "dump" thread about her email.

Here was an interesting email exchange regarding Jim O'Bryan. Is stalking a common trait amongst those people?

FFL has always been a good citizen......I do my banking there because I don't want to support the "Big Banks" that have plundered our economy.
Plus, I've always found their staff to be helpful and friendly.
I hope FFL learns a lesson from this unfortunate incident.

BTW, has anyone noticed that Jim Kenny is part of the skullduggery? Remember how he used to come on here and pretend to be so morally superior?
This just goes to show what a corrupt, terrible bunch of people comprise "Build Lakewood".

In the interests of transparency, and saying something when things don't feel right, I request that the post be restored. At minimum, we should have an explanation of why it went away, along with all follow-up comments.

One of this forum's great virtues is that, once "the ink dries," it's permanent. Even if it's embarrassing. When someone errs, the solution is to post a follow-up acknowledging and correcting it, not to go back and white out a whole thread like it never happened. That's the general rule, it's the rule for me.

I'm uncomfortable with seeing that compromised, especially on a basis that's reserved only for a few members.

I think that we would all like to have a better understanding of whether or not City employees were engaged in political activities with City equipment or on City time with respect to the Issue-related campaigns or in the municipal elections in 2015-2016.

Matt

I made a post and was called immediately by the bank and they assured me in writing it was false. They made it clear the person in the story had quit working for the bank by June 2016 so they had nothing to do with it. It came from her personal email, though I see no email on it, and finally that she was not an executive with the bank just a manager.

Here is that note. The entire thread is preserved in Legal review for a second look at the facts.

Jim,

As a follow up to our phone conversation from 2:15 PM today, and your inquiry, Heidi Finniff has not been an employee of First Federal Lakewood since June of 2016.

When employed, she was never a senior officer of the bank.

Heidi’s email was sent from her personal email address. First Federal Lakewood as a matter of practice does not distribute or disseminate any customer’s non-public personal information.

I agree with Mike, FFL has been a great player in the community and schools. I can take them at their word.

Also the right is reserved for all members, with a simple text to a moderator. The same process I went through with this.

I have been with First Federal since my first Christmas Account as a kid. Heidi was also an acquaintance of mine, that I enjoyed and worked with. The very things BuildLakewood accused others of doing, they were doing in a highly organized manor, to follow people that did not agree with the mayor or them, track them.

I find it even more ironic that one of the two times in 15 years MH has been on my porch was to say someone creepy was following her, and we find out she was correct on many levels.

I also agree with Mike that BuildLakewood filled the Deck for what amounted to a bar fight, and then shouted look at the fight, look at the fight, while the City worked their plan to set up the Lakewood Community Page, to hide the truth, and find out information on dissents, as any Fascist government would do.

I don't care that Ms Finiff left the employ of First Federal in June 2016. She sent that email in January of 2016 so she was an employee of the bank, a Commercial Banking Officer.

Her gossipy email is unprofessional and, in my opinion, reflects poorly on the Build Lakewood group.

Apparently, they think "observing" people is meant literally.

It frightening the level of their paranoia and willingness to break conventional social taboos to achieve their goals.

Bridget

Well, the note was correct she was no longer there in June.

What is becoming increasingly obvious with ever drip of public documents, the Mayor had an enemy list, Build Lakewood had an enemies list, and they actively spied on them, tried to get dirt on them, and generally were creepy, intimidating and much much more. Believe me.

While our so called Civic Leaders said publicly "A great deal for Lakewood." In secret little clusters they were collecting dirt on law abiding residents, looking for skeletons in their closets for one reason and one reason only. INTIMIDATE RESIDENTS INTO SHUTTING UP, aka actively working to take away their First Amendment Rights!

Why? They simply did not agree with the Mayor on this single subject. Hell, all I asked for was the truth, and made it to the top of the list!

City Hall's answer? BuildLakewood's positive answer. "GET DIRT ON PEOPLE THAT ASK QUESTIONS WE CAN'T ANSWER" or LIE.

Welcome to Lakewood, Ohio where Civic leaders spy on you, actively as an organized group, and try to actively silence you through intimidation.

Lakewood, you have been played by your Civic Leaders and City Hall.
