BOE sets considerations for sale of property

At its June 5 meeting, the Lakewood Board of Education shared the parameters that it is using when considering any proposals to purchase the Board of Education property on Warren Road. Those criteria are:
-Ensure the safety and security of Grant Elementary School
-Purchase price
-Guarantee occupancy for current Board offices for minimum 12-18 months
-Preserve historical nature of the East Rockport building
-Return of tax paying property to the tax duplicate
