Can Lakewood Afford This Any Longer?

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

It what is becoming an ever increasing series of courts dates and court dates and court dates and court dates, one needs to wonder, can Lakewood afford this administration any longer? The have spent millions of our dollars fighting our request to see our documents as stated by the courts repeatedly.

The City's lawyers are not free, except to them. How long can we afford to pay out of town lawyers to defend elected officials that knowingly kept secrets from us for over ten years? At some point this has be seen seen as a self destructive relationship that does not end well.

In Formula One, there was a young Italian driver named Andrea DeCeaseris, he was fast, had the looks, and went to top team with tons of money.

Unfortunately, he crashed destroying his car in 13 of 16 races, and was let go, as McLaren could no longer afford his high cost BS.

How many more millions of tax dollars will be wasted disobeying court orders keeping public documents hidden?

This administration is destroying Lakewood's cool factor at an amazing rate.

Are you sure that the city is paying all of the fees?

Yes, where is Tom Bullock when you need him?

Isn't he worried about how much this is costing the city??

Perhaps we should sue City Hall to make them pay for this out of their own pockets. If a crime or wrongdoing was committed, why should the City of Lakewood have to pay for these clowns?
