Assistant Observer Reporter Charlie Deneen, shown here at the recent March for Science, invites local animal lovers to attend the CCLAS "Hair of the Dog" Happy Hour and Silent Auction fundraiser on May 18 at Around The Corner.
The event, which runs from 5:30 to 8:30pm, benefits the homeless dogs and cats of Lakewood. Charlie, who was abandoned on the streets of Lakewood in 2006, is one of hundreds of animals that has gotten a second chance at life thanks to CCLAS.
Advance tickets are $25 each, and are available to purchase at http://cclas.org/HOD2017.html until Noon on Tuesday, May 16th. We encourage you to buy your tickets in advance because this is always a sell-out crowd, but guests can also purchase their ticket at the door for $30. (Please note: there are no physical tickets - guests who have purchased advance tickets online can simply check in at the door.)
