LO_13_07 Online And On The Streets

First let me thank all of the advertisers who have resigned, and those who are signing up! The Lakewood community thanks you for your dedication to discussion, civic discourse, news and opinions. We ran out of room and added more pages, and next issue looks even bigger!

But first...

Twice a month a free-thinking group of dedicated Lakewoodites work together, no matter what they each believe individually, to get news, opinions, events, stories and photos out to their fellow residents and businesses. This never-ending love fest with the residents and businesses of Lakewood has been going on for over a decade. Through thick and thin, through good news and bad news, this group of Lakewoodites takes the time to put it on paper and send it out to 12,000+ readers for your education entertainment.

Together we are the Observers, together we help to define Lakewood.

peace/love

We do. I take note of who advertises in the Observer these days, and try to pay them a visit or at least mentally file them for future reference.

Big thanks to all the writers, photographers, editors and advertisers that make it happen.

I'm amazed at how this project continues to grow.

A special shout out to newbie Bethany Francis for the great work she is doing covering and writing up City Council meetings. Related ... a tip of the hat to Christopher Bindel for his many years of service to the LO Project while covering the happenings in those hallowed chambers.

Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?"
