I am currently waiting for a telephone call back from a person with the State of Ohio who is checking things out for me.

I said way back that most members, not all, of the school board were in with the mayor and are also alleged criminals!

Again, like the city, why the hurry to suddenly dump everything? Folks, I believe there is something very sinister going on here!

Maybe its all my fault. If I had run a better campaign for School Board I would have been elected. If elected I wouldn't have kept any of their secrets. Imagine that!

Post Script : I can't think of one development that would mean as much as 1,500 high paying medical jobs.

Add in a college campus and new apartments on the site if the Lakewood Center building, a real family health center and a new hospital bed tower... oh .. if we did that the Mayors pals wouldn't have theit new Foundation. Never mind.

Run, Bill, run - for council. Whether you win or not, imagine all those issus that will be on the table with you, Tristan and (I know he doesn't want to do it) Brian on the debate stage.

I would like to see a J.C.Penny outlet store and a Sears Auto Repair Center on that site. If there's any left over room we could "shoe horn" in a Lakewood Juvenile Shoe store. (couldn't resist that  )

The question here really isn't what store to put on the school site or what alleged "friend" will just happen to get the property. The question is how the school board went about doing this.

The same old sneaky, behind closed doors, just like Summers and extended Company do their business deals.

Like I said before, I believe we have a few members of the Lakewood Board of Education that are members of Summers and Extended Company. In my opinion, I allege that a few of these board members are criminals, just like Summers.

Coming soon: More Summers and extended Company's friend's condos. Complete with a ten year tax abatement. Is anyone getting kick backs from all these sales?

I am still gathering information from sources. Stayed tuned. More to come on this corrupt? deal.

This Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. the Lakewood Heritage Advisory Board will meet in the Council Conference Room at Lakewood City Hall, 12650 Detroit Avenue. Perhaps historical designation of the School Board buildings will be on their agenda. You can learn more at http://www.onelakewood.com/accordions/h ... y-board-2/

Additionally, The Lakewood Historical Society has a Preservation Committee that may welcome new members. Please visit lakewoodhistory.org for more information about membership and preservation efforts.

Lori

I was not saying the the School Board was running a corrupt deal. I was saying, I find it amazing they hide information from us. Especially information that would benefit all of us if we knew.

I personally believe that had the city been honest with the plans and the ideas, the health care issues could have been addressed, and the school in the center of town could be addressed.

That was my point.

To all

Meg is right, join the Historical Society.

Jim,

Wow! I guessed I must have misinterpreted some of our phone calls.

Remember when you have said before that sometimes you doubt me, and then find that I am usually right?

Fasten your seat belt. You are about to go on one hell of a ride! :D

If you think I have ever indicated anyone on the School Board was corrupt, my definition not yours, please let me clear that up.

Maybe we have have different definitions?

Example, if Mayor Summers stopped and filed his car every night at the city gas pumps, I would not call that corrupt. Should he bring his wife's or son;s car in that day and stop, not really corrupt. Line the family up at the pumps, with their friends and relatives, starting to move the needle.

The "School Board Building For Sale" and the "FFL donation" to the LHS indoor track/community recreation center were "publicly" announced about the same time last October.

I will buy a steak dinner for the first person to guess the successful bidder at the April 25, 2017 "auction."

Those who pre register will be well known.

Why not Lakewood?

Meg,

Anyone who thinks that Summers and friends don't have their hands in this, are mistaken.

Why all of a sudden is there this rush to get properties sold, etc.?

It will be interesting to see which "Company" members "friend" the property goes to.

My guess, the deal is probably signed and sealed. Like city hall and the hospital deal, they have to go through the charades of making it look legitimate.

Anyone who thinks the past should be bulldozed ought to take a trip up to Buffalo. There, they appreciate their vintage buildings and the city is far better for it. Cleveland, who leveled most of their mansions, is left with abandoned lots and ugly strip malls. Take a trip down Chester or Euclid to see the legacy of destruction.

Buffalo, on the other hand, has HUNDREDS of mansions in beautiful neighborhoods that surround their city center.

It is truly awe inspiring!

All it takes is imagination and the WILL.
