The Lakewood Observer has been looking at City Hall's hiring practices, while asking residents and businesses what is the minimum we expect from City Hall when they hire people to represent the city, interact with residents and businesses, and even go into yards, and homes with the logo of the city on their clothes, cards, cars, etc.
With the recent revelation of a second employee in 12 months being allowed to step down after being found out that they used their position, time, and equipment to harass, businesses and residents. This is becoming yet another nightmare for Lakewood, the residents, and our future. Does this City even do background checks?
In honor of Sunshine Week, and Public Documents, moving this down. Might have enough for the story, thank you all.

Re: Questioning City Hall's Hiring Practices PART 3
I believe that when you hire your friends and friend's relatives, there would be no need to do a back ground check.
It appears that even if they were to have a criminal record, or not have the appropriate degree for the job in which they were hired for, the Mayor would still appoint them.
I believe that at least two employees were hired for their computer skills intentionally. Possibly to gain information from anyone challenging the regime?
Face it folks, we appear to have an extremely corrupt city administration.
