Murder On Plover - Police News Release - UPDATED

Re: REPORT # 17-000602

On February 7, 2017 at 8:56 AM Lakewood Police Dispatch received a call from a male reporting his son had shot his, the son’s, wife at 12929 Plover St. Lakewood Police and Fire units were sent to the home.

Upon arrival the suspect, a 38 year old male, surrendered to officers.

Officers entered the home and found the body of the suspect’s 36 year old wife on a bed in the basement. The body was transported to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The suspect was transported to Lakewood City Jail.

Updates will be issued once next of kin are notified and charges brought.

The investigation is continuing.

Jason E. White has been charged with Aggravated Murder in connection with the death of his wife Stacy A. White.

At this time he is being held without bond.
