Lakewood refugees and immigrants

Post by Kate McCarthy »

Today's events have made me think of our community's immigrant and refugee population. Lakewood is richer for being a welcoming community to refugees and due to its walkability, a place where people with limited means could make their way without a car. I've seen children in our parks speaking different languages, joining together in play, generally around a ball. This is a couple of years old but is much of what is great about Lakewood, despite itself.

What would Toby do?

Several Clinic employees have gotten caught up in this fiasco but Toby is strangely quiet - he's got his gala at Mar-a-Lago that he can't miss!
