WXZ Development - Lake Ave. Marathon Filling Station

City Hall sticks their necks out for WXZ Development. Will Armond do Mike Summers another alleged favor and ensure that the grant goes to WXZ? I suspect another member of Summers & Co. LLC. The whole county is supposed to share these grants and certain criteria has to be met.

The ruination of Lakewood appears to continue. When will these cities wake up and realize that these "infill" projects are not beneficial? It was interesting seeing a about six or seven of those condos in a row up for sale up by Pepper's this summer. People can't sell the ones that are already there.

I will be keeping an eye on this project, as I allege that it is not on the up and up.

I wonder if Zaremba will be a part of this project? Will C & J Demolition be involved? Will Darren be asked to be a consultant? Things are not smelling good over on lake Avenue!

Hmm...looks a lot like the "project" that the Cleveland Clinic...err...Forest City...err...Rockport Square LLC is building in the Beach/Winchester/Detroit area. Why on Earth would this be allowed in an area of beautiful, big, old houses on Lake?

What is this penchant for these projects?

Look at this listing for example. This is a condo at the corner of Ridgewood and Detroit:
http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhom ... 6323-26394

Notice the listing history. It was originally sold for $311,000 in 2008. The owners listed it for sale on 9/15/14 for $284,900. In June 2015, the price was reduced to $282,900. The price was changed again to $279,900 on 3/7/16, and down to $269,900 on 6/1/16. It has been listed and de-listed a few times, but the owners are still the same since the original 2008 sale. Therefore, it looks like they will end up taking quite a loss. That is a shame. This is not the only case of this involving these condos. One on Hopkins near Detroit sat on the market for over a year, I believe, before finally selling. A $27,000 loss was taken on that one by the original owners.

All summer, I looked at a whole row of these condos on Detroit for sale on the eastern end for months and months. Why keep building and building more when nobody wants the ones already in place?

With these popping up all over the place, I will now be investigating the possibility of a connection between this and the alleged housing scam that has been going on in Lakewood now for at least several years.

One thing that concerns me is the loss of Nature's Bin and their incredible mission of good for those with disabilities. If you look at the management history, Whole Foods had nothing to do with this loss.

The Bin was located on prime property adjacent to those GENERIC, PRE-FABRICATED $315+ condos. I believe this is the developer Dru Siley left us to be a part of.

The Bin is also down the road from those stunning glass condos where the old Irish cottage used to be. While I admire this modern architecture, I don't admire it if it ends up replacing a unique amenity like the Bin.

I believe that there must be a member of Summers and Extended Company that is affiliated with this WXZ group. I am still looking into all this. I believe we will find that it is just another part of the alleged housing scams that have been going on in Lakewood. Soon there will be no Lakewood charm left. Just a bunch of empty condos left to be rented out to public housing!

Let us not forget that one of our ex-city employees went to work for Zaremba. ( Jason Russell ) Their office is right across the street from the parking garage that we the tax payers of Lakewood paid to have torn down for Lord Lakewood's good friends, CCF. ( at least 7 million! )

Since WXZ appears to be another well hidden limited liability company, will Zaremba be jumping in to help build our future pubic housing condos?
