It's Getting Crazy, Getting Serious!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Many of you are aware that during this year's lighting contest.

Coming in like champions, Gaynel Mellino, from Overlook Park, said, " This tree is in Overlook Park. Drive through Overlook Park on Christmas Eve to check out all the luminarias. It's truly magical!"

And I have to admit, Overlook Park and luminarias., are pretty impressive, BUT

Clifton Park comes back hard and heavy. We wondered, is it cheating?

At first when looking at a typical Clifton Park home, you do not see it, but if you look closer.

Live Deer! Amazing.

One residents said, "They roam freely throughout the neighborhood."

Is it fair?

OK new category, best traditional lights with live wild animals.

It is on!

Over 125 photos of Christmas Lights, enjoy.

Are luminaries the same thing as luminarias? Talk about gentrification! Was the word too Mexican for the midwest?

Thanks for the great pics, Jim!

Luminaries means more than one notable person - a luminary.

Multiple luminaria are luminarias.

Why not encourage the luminaries (self-defined) to put themselves on display?
