Anyone who knows Karen and Dan Bosworth know what fine people they are, and their children are every bit what the parents are. Karen took her backroom, work out of my kitchen, cake business to one of the top cake businesses in the area. A couple years ago, they enlarged into the old Russell Flowers building, and Dan started renovating.
I would stop in and check on progress and slowly but surely, because both are very busy with their growing business, it would take shape. They would do this or that and take baby steps towards their dream. Simply a place for people to relax and enjoy the incredible cakes and pastries made there.
This month they have opened the space, and I found it breathtaking, in so much it felt like the Bosworths. You could feel their heart, and their work as you looked around. I have only found this experience in one other place in Lakewood. Stop in, you will feel it immediately, organic, people building dreams, family working together.
Stop in, check it out. Support all Lakewood businesses, but cherish the really good ones.
