ANOMISLY
I wish there was a place in this site, that would allow me to say something, voice my opinion, with out disclosing who I am/// within the LO guidelines... and let Freedom Ring I have thoughts, but I don't want you to know who I am, and I want to hear your voice too, your opinions, without exposure, ... WHY NOT?

The LO COULD EDIT, DELEAT any content they desire, but be the first in the country, to offer "who knows" posted thoughts by readers, with out knowing there identity.. sounds like a good idea to me...

Completely and utterly disagree. The best thing about this site is that we all have to expose who we are when posting. What on earth would you post that you don't want yourself to be known? That, in and of itself, tells me it would be inflammatory and not a good post.
Jim, please don't ever let this site allow anybody to post anonymously (not sure what anomisly is but I think it was supposed to be anonymously). That is not a good way to go, IMHO.

I'm just asking, if I endorsed Trump or Hillary, would I want bombs in my front yard? just a radon thought, without publicly and identifying me, can I just see what people think? the LO would know who I am, I'm registered, , they have my profile, why not give us this outlet?

It won't take the place of another site, it will just be another outlet, where you can voice your onion without the harassment or ridicule, from those you know.... and who know you..

Jackie, you have this available to you at Cleveland.com and Facebook. You can create a fake name or an alias like Cmager or tayjack or Essiisab or bridgelovestohate or mikelikestohidebehindsnarkandarrogance. Then you could say anything you want.jackie f taylor wrote:I wish there was a place in this site, that would allow me to say something, voice my opinion, with out disclosing who I am/// within the LO guidelines... and let Freedom Ring I have thoughts, but I don't want you to know who I am, and I want to hear your voice too, your opinions, without exposure, ... Jackie, I think it's best to put names on the positions and opinions you take . At the end of the day it's about accountability and owning what you say.Patrick Wadden wrote:Jackie, you have this available to you at Cleveland.com and Facebook. For instance, when Mr. Wadden desperately seeks out whether C. Mager is a male or a female, (as bizarre as it is), we get to note that.
When Mr. Wadden, in that LOL way of his , pines for the absence of Mr. Rossen and his obstructionist bullshit,( nod to Mr. Wadden), we get to note that.
When Mr. Wadden , in that LOL way of his, takes a really cheap shot at Mr. Essi . We get to note that.
Hey Wadden take your own advice, Calm Down .
You're getting way too emotional. It's not healthy.

Cmager is Bill Mager and I have zero issue with him and his posts from Phoenix. We have mutual friends in Ciaran Simon and Marty Tarr.
Rossen was banned for his "obstructionist bs" I get it but I don't agree with it.
Cheap shots at Essi have become a cottage industry. Brian and I have talked off line and we are cool. I disagree with him and he knows that.
Do you participate in this forum because Cleveland Heights doesn't have an Observation Deck?
You should listen to less Vampire Weekend and check out The National. Your hipster facade is weak. Your sanctimonious posts ring thin and your word jazz is weak. Thick rimmed Glasses don't make you cool.
Back to the thread, Jackie, accountability is key. Using a fake name on the deck is frowned upon and I agree.

Re: ANOMISLY
I understand, though, I wasn't looking for a forum where I could spew venom and condemn or bash others, but just hoping people could say who there voting for, without having to disclose, "this is who Jack is voting for", just to get a feeling for who the audience is supporting, without the public "polls", NBC, CBS, or CNN. I thank you for your input and explaining to me the reasons that it is what it is.

Re: ANOMISLY
Mr. Wadden, you are falling into one of the many Rossen holes. Your posts are more about people - do they wear glasses, or bow ties? Do they have hair? Are they hip or think they're hip, or are they cool? Do they live on Riverway or in Birdtown or in Phoenix? Do they have too much fun (WTH)? Are they short or tall? Do they spend charitable $$ at McDonald's? Do they like vampires or zombies, or care nothing about that sh*t? Are they male or female? Do they drink while posting on social media, and is that a bad thing? Do they have a first initial or a first name? Are they a rule breaker or a rule follower? Are they gay? Do they question authority, and do they have a bumper sticker that says so? Are there clowns to their left, and jokers to their right?
I dunno. I like people who have good bullsh*t detectors, who care about doing the right thing, who focus on issues and not people, and who are kind.

Labels? I've looked all over and I don't think God ever stuck one on me.
And if HE didn't? I ain't fixin' to let anyone else stick one on me either.
Is it time for the banjo sing-a-long yet?
Just sayin'...
