Wow, you people complain a lot.

If we're up to you all of Lakewood would rot just as long as you get your voices heard. No wonder you all hate Lakewood do so, no matter what they do it is wrong to you.

You are mistaken. We all care a great deal about Lakewood. We also care about our poor, elderly and disadvantaged populations. Nature's Bin?! Do you have any idea of the good provided by that buisness? It is shameful that you make such petty and substanceless attacks. I grew up in Geauga County but always knew what a great city Lakewood was, which is why I moved here... green, walkable with rich amenities. Those AGAINST 64 are intelligent constituents who want to keep it great. Anyone for this issue has their own self-serving interests.
I know a lot about Nature's Bin, most likely more than you. Great place and it is a shame what happened to them but your group is hating empty storefronts and hating development. Make up your minds.

You say keep it great but complain about what it is. Make up your mind.

Mr/Ms. Peppard that seems to be very, very true of the leaders of the "for" effort, doesn't it? Very true.

That is genius. What a novel concept, voting for something you believe in. All votes, in all elections, in all circumstances are self-serving interest fulfilling.

Take for example smoking:
Smokers will vote to lift bans so they can smoke freely. A self-serving vote to smoke.
Non-smokers will vote for smoking bans. A self-serving vote for their right to fresh, non-toxic, air.
AGAINST Lakewood voters will vote to cease development. A self-serving vote AGAINST the future of Lakewood.
Or as you would you put it - very, very, very AGAINST Lakewood.

Thank you for introducing the new concept that a vote is self-serving. Pass this information along, you are on to something, it might just catch on.

I still stand by my posts regarding the housing here in Lakewood. I believe there is alleged money laundering going on in the city and this alleged housing scam is where they are putting the money through to make it "clean".

A vote AGAINST 64 is a vote against bad government. A vote against those who appear to be secretive and self-serving and failed fiduciaries. A vote against the theft of public assets for private use. A vote against the theft healthcare opportunities in the most densely populated city between NYC and CHI.

I can see where you were confused. Thanks for letting me clear that up. Vote AGAINST 64.

I agree. A vote AGAINST 64 is the beginning of taking our city back from these alleged thieves. We need to stop them from allegedly money laundering our city away, one business at a time, one house at a time.

The only thing I am confused on is the pure humor of your thinking.

You complain about bad government. You complain about a bad bidding process. Then, to top it off, you want to sway voters to vote to send the bidding process (which you've already complained about) back to the government (who you've already complained about) to go through the bidding process again. Same people, same process - still no one else interested in moving into Lakewood or taking over the hospital. So, essentially, you are voting to hold up the progress of Lakewood for years to come. You are truly voting AGAINST Lakewood. No confusion on my part.

FOR Lakewood.
FOR progress.

Just to point out one thing. Cmager says he votes against
Bad government etc..and that's all well and good but he doesn't likely vote here in Lakewood since he lives in Phoenix. Lakewood guy but probably not living here. Appreciate the the long distance participation Bill.

Every voice matters. Thanks for joining the conversation.

Wow, what a joke you are. Jim recruited you living out in Phoenix to try to persuade a Lakewood election. This is an all-time low.

Wish I knew you were not living here all this time with your hype and banter - I could have had real fun with that.

What a joke your side of the coin just displayed.

Just another person AGAINST Lakewood, not even living in Lakewood.

I've been considering a move to Lakewood, but am concerned that I'd trade a real desert for a healthcare desert. Apparently the first amendment extends under bridges in Lakewood, and most definitely out into the desert in Arizona.

Apparently. And according to Jim's lies, you may find some bundles of the Observer under those same bridges.

Yet when tons of outsiders (those not living in Lakewood) from the Cleveland Clinic weighed in on the "deal," held press conferences promoting the deal, provided considerable funding towards the Build Lakewood camapaign and against the last ballot initiative, there was not a peep out of Corey Rossen.

But that's just so typical of a shit stirrer.

The outsiders you mention are looking out for the future of our city and its progress, so I am fine with that.
