NO! We do not have access to healthcare as we did before Council and Mayor Summers closed Lakewood Hospital and gutted the equipment.
No! We have lost all of the money from taxes on wages from 1000 good paying jobs, adding up to almost a million dollars, many good things could have been done with that money.
No, we have lost $ 275,000,000. in economic activity, that is millions lost that benefits many merchants that have a business in Lakewood.
Please someone tell me why this has happened.
I need a reason that will restore my Faith In City Government.

James,
If making Lakewood healthier was really the intentions of Summers and Extended Company, why then does the majority of this administration's "economic development" consists of E-cig stores, bars, vape lounges, and burner cell phone stores?

The crazy thing about all this James, is that our mayor fought for all the losses you mention! And, all to create open space in downtown Lakewood for his friends to develop. The worst real estate deal in history, and I use the term "deal" loosely. It is certainly NOT in the people's favor. Rather, it's costs are born by all of Lakewood's citizens.
