What will be their October Surprise?
Last year at this time we were cutting the Ribbon on the Solstice Steps, which again they lied about.
What this time? Flashy drawings? City Hall/Rec/More
Cures for what ails you?

Re: Solstice Steps 2?
Others have already suggested that Lakewood might see the long-awaited second issue of the Neighborhood News. I have no idea, though I did learn recently that at some point the NN web site was updated, and Brooklyn vanished from its "Communities" page while Lakewood remains. (Significance: who knows?)

Meanwhile, Save Lakewood Hospital has predicted a well-publicized demolition of the empty Medical Office Building, as an attempt to dishearten voters who don't want the hospital gone. (Via potential confusion about what is and is not the hospital site, or else potential assumptions that the hospital site will inevitably follow.)
I suppose that officials who want to prove SLH wrong could always leave the Office Building untouched until after November 8, eh?
