I attended a finance meeting in July and here is the information I acquired.
Beginning on page 25 of the attachment - part 1, notice the items highlighted in red. The Solstice Steps and many other projects like the water main replacement are over a million dollars over budget. I am not an expert, but I am curious know if this should be a concern. Also, LHF is listed as a funding source for many projects and purchases - what happens now? Lastly, I would like to know about the companies selected to receive millions in contracts from the city.

Would not the contracts the city lets out be up for open bidding?
