We provide blank papers and crayons to the community to write, draw and record their thoughts.
It is a pitiful statement of this community when people fear the thoughts of others.

What civic leader? You can't drop names with actually stating the name. It's kinda funny how that works.Jim O'Bryan wrote:Bridget Conant wrote:Now THAT is funny!
Bridget
This comes from a comment I made a couple weeks back.
A civic leader said, "I have never seen anything like this, they want you and the Observer to disappear!"
I pointed out, I am merely the person handing out paper and crayons. How am I the threat?
All I have ever asked is truth and transparency from city hall. How is that evil? Want to disappear?
Seems pretty silly to me.
I have told this story many times, Mayor of Westlake Dennis Clough(?) said, "When people will talk about me?!!" I assured him they are already talking about him. That this version gives 3 options. 1) He knows who it was. 2) Answer or ignore 3) Handle it publicly or privately. But rest assured, the Observer not being there is not going to stop people from talking.

Maybe why they allegedly hired the alleged building inspector from the alleged campaign staff.Lori Allen _ wrote:Summers and extended family fear only the citizens that speak out against them. Lord Lakewood almighty has allegedly been harassing citizens, allegedly getting them for tiny housing violations, such as a bush over growing the side walk by1/16th of an inch, allegedly has had people stalked at their school or place of employment, allegedly has had the police and city employees follow people around town, and allegedly has even had death threats sent out. I do not believe that a sane leader would be involved in any of these alleged incidences.
Couldn't these actions and the actions of trying to take away freedom of speech be considered a form of extortion?
