What Would Ken Warren Do?

My guess is remove his name from association with the project, just like other founders have done in the past. They were ahead of the game.

He would have wanted to keep it classy.

"Keep it classy?" You channel dead people you never knew?

Put words in their mouth.

Sheer desperation.

And completely wrong, unless you have proof? But of course you don't.

Oh more desperate Corey BS.

Corey you have fun, making a running script of how sharp you are, I'm going to breakfast, and then the Zoo!

I did know Ken Warren. In knowing him I am sure he would never type the phrase "whaaaaa" or encourage the behaviors of what project he helped create.

It's funny how you call my comments BS.

You have absolutely no understanding of how Ken Warren helped shape the Observer Project and the Observation Deck. You do not know Steve Calhoun and you certainly know nothing about me, or why I stepped away.

We weren't sure how the Deck was going to play out, but it was launched in honor of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson and the spirit of Gonzo Journalism on the day the good Dr. died. Ken also referred to the Deck as a mosh pit and he loved starting arguments, whether he did it himself or made some suggestions about what Molotov cocktails he'd like to see lobbed into our cyber neighborhood. I think we were all surprised that when it came to his true radicalism, Ken was pure and authentic. He had many writing outlets under his own name and under other identities you probably know nothing about and he enjoyed shape-shifting. He was a visionary, able to morph into various personas to work on projects that held his interest.

I am still proud of being part of the founding class of the Observer. I don't know how you missed the fact that my name is one of the names on the lawsuit against the City and the Clinic.

What the lawsuit has found, what Brian Essi has discovered, and what the suit against O'Bryan has uncovered is wave after wave of corruption.

You are welcome to your little butt hurt slap-fests, but it is boring and in no way enlightening. If you are not fighting it, you are part of the corruption that makes my city stink and you are an insult to Ken Warren's first class mind.

This is clearly not Ken Warren's Gonzo Journalism, or his version of Hunter's. It has strayed far, far away without Ken to overlook and keep it in check. That is all too clear.

This is "shock jock journalism" and there is a big difference. This new version has alienated all but 8 Lakewoodites. I'm guessing that is something Ken would not have wanted. It defeats his every intent. Some shoes are just too hard to fill, most people are just not capable.

ps Gonzo Journalism encourages profanity - so does that mean the Deck is bringing kate e parker back? That is, if she really exists. Just to keep it "Gonzo" of course.

Ken never "overlooked" or "kept in check". That is a figment of your imagination. You have no idea who Ken Warren was.

You don't have to "overlook" to overlook.

Clearly the cat is away.
