On Friday, September 30th at approximately 2242 hours Lakewood Police responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a male that was shot in the parking lot of the Shell Gas Station located at 1538 W.117th Street. Initial information was that the victim was shot after several rounds were fired from a vehicle that was travelling on Franklin Blvd.
Arriving officers located 1 male victim, later identified as Christopher Bates, 27 YOA, of Maple Heights, Ohio. Bates had sustained a gunshot wound to the forehead and was transported to Metro General Hospital by EMS where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Initial investigation and subsequent follow up of this incident continued until Saturday evening by which time Lakewood Police had identified and arrested 4 suspects. Arrest warrants were obtained for all 4 individuals charging them with attempted murder and all are being held on $500,000.00 bond.
The four individuals arrested are Evan Carter, 18 YOA, Daveon Denson, 19 YOA and Johnny Miller, 19 YOA all residents of Lakewood as well as Orrion Robinson, a Cleveland resident who is also 18 YOA.
Investigation is continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Two weeks ago,there were three armed robberies that occurred on the eastern end of Lakewood near 117th street. My mom heard it on channel 5 once. I never heard it on any other news stations that I watch or on the radio on WTAM.
Was this person ever caught? Were these four incidents related?
