Butler/City Hall Concealing Public Records to Influence Issue 64

Over 200 hundred separate public records requests are currently being withheld by Kevin Butler and City Hall.

Some of these requests are over a year old--some just two weeks.

Almost every one of these 200+ public records requests relate in some way to the Master Agreement which is the subject of Issue 64.

While Summers, Butler and Jay Carson's PAC of lies are out spreading lies, the truth is being concealed.

This alone is one good reason to vote against 64.

It is unbelievable that the elected leaders of the City of Lakewood would stonewall the release of public records to affect the outcome of the vote concerning Issue 64,. It seems like they are hiding something, I really want to know what is in those records and I have a right to know. I am shocked by the refusal of city officials to release these public records to the citizens of Lakewood.

Last year Build Lakewood, demanded answers from SLH's Margarette Harkness, after she had found out about the deal for 6 months earlier.

"WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS, YOU HAVE NO PLANS!"

Mayor Summers and crew, the architects of closing the hospital, have known since 2010. We have proof. We also have the proof of the hundreds and hundreds of meetings Mayor Summers had while getting rid of the hospital.

4 election cycles, 2 elections on the topic, and City Hall refuses to release PUBLIC DOCUMENTS, to the public.

This great idea, in which taxpayers lose $100 million in assets, still cannot be unveiled.

This deal, is a joke.

First of all, we have to find out what in the hell happened to the money! How about we start the legal way, which is, any public asset needs to be put up for open bidding. Since it appears that Summers and Company violated this one big time, we need to open it up for other bids. I believe there are about three or four entities that are interested.

For those that want to believe Summers and Company that the hospital was losing money need to talk with Marguerite Harkness from Save Lakewood Hospital. She is a certified public accountant and has the paper work that proves Lakewood Hospital WAS making money until the alleged thieves started moving OUR assets OUT of the hospital to OTHER CCF facilities. Then Summers and Extended Company appear to have given the hospital to their alleged friends at the Cleveland Clinic for a small fraction of the actual worth. This fact, I believe, needs to be looked into, as I believe something is not right.

How about we halt the demolition of the south medical building which the tax payers of Lakewood are paying for, until the lawsuit is over. Summers and Company believe that if citizens see a torn down building, it means a done deal. Why is Cleveland Clinic not paying for C&J to demolish this?

I am out everyday in Lakewood, primarily east of Bunts and have spoken with residents about how they view our state of the are "Urgi-Care". The majority are not happy with the apparent , less than adequate care, they are receiving there. A lot of them think it is a joke. I believe it is another way for CCF, Donald Marten and Sons, and possibly our city leaders to make money because they can't do anything for you there. They have to first find a place to ship you to, call another ambulance, and then, off you go to yet, another ER bill and ambulance ride. It is not like CCF would EVER do this for free. Especially since they care so much about the under served. I feel and believe that there is some kind of kickback to Summers and Extended Family. More to come on that soon.
