Bookshop tops 2016 Hotlist

While out for a walk last night, I passed the Bookshop in Lakewood and saw that it achieved first in its category on this year's Cleveland Hotlist.

This made me happy, and I think it's something of an accomplishment that our little one-man store did well among some very prominent competitors. Full disclosure: the shop carries a couple of my books. But I mostly like to promote it because it's a great store, and IMO adds something that Lakewood needed.

While I'm at it, I'll quickly mention another Lakewood winner, Diana Chittester. She's a fantastic musician, and truly does have a presence to qualify as best local band all by herself.
