I agree, this should be in Global, but since it is here, I have to add my 2 cents. Above all, above anything else, I want to be safe, if Trump will make the Military the biggest, the strongest, the most employed profession in all of America, including the police, the task force, the Coast Guard, all of it, right down to the city services, to get rid of the trash that blights our neighborhoods, then I'm all in. We should not have to call and complain time and time again about trash, barking dogs, drug dealers, robberies, assaults and smash & grab. I feel like I live in a third world country.

Our paid politicians are dining at posh restaurants in Washington DC, on my dime, I cannot dine there, my house will be broken into while I'm out, even if I could afford it, and I cannot. I drive by our neighborhoods and have to look at dirty sofas, mattresses, and toilets. We have Hugh problems here in The United States of America, and Hillary will not solve them, my money is on Trump. I see what's on the table, and I don't like it, or I can pick door number 2, I'll take door number 2.

christopher dan---Thanks.for bringing this "Trump" thing up. Unfortunately, it is only making a lot of responsible and community oriented Lakewood voters who've happened to vote for some Republican candidates very uncomfortable.

Those who are getting a "free" ride, and more entitlements, phones, rent, food, you name it, without having to bring anything to the table, taking full advantage of the system, will vote for Hillary. Your personal success will cost you, it will benefit those who never lifted a finger to help, in fact, Hillary will destroy the American Dream.

The majority is now the minority, we have lost the battle if Hillary wins. Those who take advantage of the system, having multiple children without responsibly or fathers, a family, it's over, we are doomed. This is your last chance, If Hillary wins, your hard work, your dreams, your financial success will be slowly taken from you and given to the less fortunate, (for whatever reason) there will never be a level playing field again. The field will be tilted, as you push your marbles up the hill, they will roll down into the hands of others, It's already happening, Hillary will make it happen sooner than later.

America was never "white", the red skins were here first, then the white man came, then the white man brought the blacks, it was never "white", and it shouldn't be, we are a melting pot of all people, everyone is welcome, just come legally and bring something to the table, help make America Great. America will never be "white", Hitler tried that, it was the single biggest man made disaster ever.

I'm not sure why JOB and the moderators aren't moving this to Global. This has nothing to do with Lakewood. If anyone would like to provide insight as to why this is the case, that would be great.

If we want to talk about alleged racism in Lakewood, we should look no further than the apparently shady tax collection practices at the county level and the apparently shady "house stealing" shenanigans allegedly going on at the city level.

It should be noted that out of all of the people that had their homes stolen or almost stolen by Woods Cove LLC in Lakewood recently, about 80% of them were apparently either old, had terminal illnesses or health problems, were black, hispanic, Arabic, or otherwise had non-western-European surnames. Meanwhile, some of the mayor's alleged, mostly white friends that own businesses or buildings on Detroit and Madison have been allegedly given free or partially-free rides on their property taxes. Some of them owe between 50 and 100 thousand dollars in back taxes. Yet, they recently took an average Joe to court for a penny. Also, many of the homes that were allegedly stolen by City Hall and demolished were owned by the poor, working poor, the elderly, the terminally ill, or the otherwise disadvantaged. I am infuriated by this and others should be too.

Seeing as Summers & Co. and Budish & Co. appear to be engaging in these allegedly shady practices, it should make all citizens on both sides of the aisle think twice about the hospital deal coming up on the ballot in November. Do we really want to trust these people? And yes, CCF appears to have infiltrated both City Hall (Summers & Co.), LakewoodAlive, the Chamber of Commerce, and the county (A.K.A. Budish & Co, allegedly part of Summers' Extended Co.).

This should be moved to Global. If we want to talk about alleged racism and prejudice locally, we should look no further than the two threads linked above.
