Mike,
Good points.
Armond Budish appears to be a member of the extended family. He has ultimate control over the Board of Elections. I would strongly advise those in charge of SLH to have spotters both at every polling location and at the Board of Elections. However, I heard on the news last night that if votes are tampered with, it is done behind closed doors where spotters are not allowed.

I knew exactly what it meant, but had to look it up to see if it truly was a word. Indeed it is:
bogosity
/boh-go's*-tee/ The degree to which something is "bogus" in the hackish sense of "bad". Bogosity is measured with a bogometer; in a seminar, when a speaker says something bogus, a listener might raise his hand and say "My bogometer just triggered". More extremely, "You just pinned my bogometer" means you just said or did something so outrageously bogus that it is off the scale, pinning the bogometer needle at the highest possible reading (one might also say "You just redlined my bogometer"). The agreed-upon unit of bogosity is the microLenat.

I really like that word. Its phonetics are superb and its vague while precise hints are spectacular. I will be looking to incorporate it into my discourse in the coming days.

Me too.
Mr. Mager hit another line drive there with "bogosity"
I feel smarter everyday form all this neighborly education.
Today we received confirmation from neighbor Jim Kenny that Insiders' Build Lakewood has in fact rebranded itself as "Lakewood Voters for Progress" Never mind the fact that Tom Gable (CCF Insider Trustee and Trustee at Avon Hospital) and some others on the Host Committee over there at the Rozi's thingy are not Lakewood Voters--they don't even live here.
Hmmm

How does that rate on the bogosity meter?Brian Essi wrote:Peter Grossetti wrote:cmager wrote:.... list is full of bogosity.

Every word out of The City Hall Club has registered on the bogometer.
bogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogobogo
And if you start with the g instead of the b, ("short o") it sounds like a turkey gobbling.
None of which enhances their credibility.
Mager's article was spot-on. Good analysis!

Come on now Brian, you don't have to be a Lakewood voter or resident to reap the "benefits" of this deal. I believe there are "benefits" and "rewards" associated with being a part of the deal and a member of what appears to be Summers' extended company.Never mind the fact that Tom Gable (CCF Insider Trustee and Trustee at Avon Hospital) and some others on the Host Committee over there at the Rozi's thingy are not Lakewood Voters--they don't even live here.
There are roughly almost 300 homes and condos for sale in Lakewood right now. Summers and his friends may not think that urban blight, decay, trash, and graffiti will ever hit their neighborhoods. Trust me when I say that it is coming. No amount of neighborhood clubs, homeowners associations, or city-maintained private streets will stop it. This will only be accelerated by likely higher taxes and unemployment. Also, an "ER" if that is what you want to call it with no trauma surgeons or operating rooms, cannot replace the lost tax revenue.

I wonder, since it now takes two ambulance rides, one Urgi-Care visit and one ER visit to get healthcare in Lakewood , will there be a drawing to win a buy one ambulance ride, get one free coupon?

Re: Insiders Rebrand As Voters For Progress To Raise "Dark Money" at Rozi's Event
Folks, despite what City Hall may want you to believe, we do not have a real, full-functioning emergency room here. It is an urgent care center if there are no trauma services, no trauma surgeons, no operating rooms, and no admissions. Perhaps a more technical term would be a triage center. I called up to the supposed "ER" a few weeks ago for a family member that was passing kidney stones. The staff told me that they could see them, but that they would more than likely be transferred to a hospital. I then asked her "so, you are transferring most people out then?" She told me that was correct.
I will say that it's great to see that Summers & Co. really thought this through. It is quite obvious that it takes longer to get to an actual hospital where treatment for serious issues can actually occur.
Just my opinion.

Re: Insiders Rebrand As Voters For Progress To Raise "Dark Money" at Rozi's Event
Issue 64 was a charter amendment that, if passed, would have required a vote of the people to close the hospital. In fact, the fake newspaper brought to us by Ed Fitzgerald and Kevin Butler and supported in part by LHA, had the headline "64 Could Doom Lakewood Hospital". The voters did not take part in the decision to close the hospital and only deal with CCF to come up with an alternative. I would guess a fair number of people voted no to save the hospital based on the disinformation campaign being conducted by BL and city hall.kate e parker wrote:i see mager forgot to mention a group of people who took part in the decision....the voters.

It appears she may have removed herself from the board. You cannot click on her name any longer.
But she made one last post!
