Sneak Peak At Grant, Lincoln, Roosevelt 4 photos!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

While the crews are working around the clock to get the schools ready for the Dedications and start of school...

Dedications:
Tuesday, August 16, 6pm: Grant Elementary
Wednesday, August 17, 6pm: Lincoln Elementary
Thursday, August 18, 6pm: Roosevelt Elementary

We walked into the news schools backwards and grabbed some spy photos prior to the opening. As these are not staged, and the crews are still working for another one week please excuse the dust, and unfinished nature of the rooms.

Let me assure you, you are going to love these schools.

The first 4 photos, I'll post more tomorrow and Monday.

Read the names, these people delivered. Some like Linda, Betsy, Ed have been working on this for years. As have Mayor Summers, and many many others.

Standing Ovation!

I promised not to post any photos from inside until Sunday, and only if everyone turns out for the openings.

So, Grant from outside.

Support Lakewood Public Schools and Public Library. Education is a wonderful cornerstone for any community!

To everyone involved up to this point, thank you.

Now let's finish the high school.

Great pictures Jim!

The board and school leaders have done an amazing job transforming the schools in the district over the last handful of years. It is a great asset to the community and will help draw in more families with children.

Congrats to everyone involved!

New buildings will be very nice (and maybe even exciting) for the students. Construction crews did great too as far as making sure the projects were completed on time.

Can't wait for the high school to finish.

With all those colors, I'd expect to see more purple and gold though!
