Munch Bishop of ESPN Cleveland reports that this year's Ed's/Ignatius football game is being moved to Browns Stadium. It is an Ignatius home game which would have been held in Parma.
I fear that the 2017 game, which would normally be in Lakewood, is in jeopardy.
Businesses on Madison generally do very well with the game, and the game raises money for the LHS Athletic Boosters (via concession sales).
I'll post updates as necessary.

Thanks for keeping on top of this, Mike. Anything that brings money into Lakewood is important.

I heard that it will be a huge hit taken by LHS Boosters. I had no idea that the revenue generated from concession stands at a single high school football game could be that high.
I hope that game comes back to Lakewood Stadium next year.

The story about the 2016 game has been confirmed by St. Ignatius.
Unless there is some sort of major mishap with this event (such as the playing field not being ready for Sunday's Browns game), I'll be shocked if St. Edward doesn't follow suit with the 2017 game.
The two schools tend to do things in tandem.

The game would have been, I believe, at Byers Field, as Ignatius is the home team in 2016. So, actually it's probably my alma mater Parma Senior that's taking it in the shorts.
