Wow. This place has turned into a shitshow. Judge O'Donnell is an honorable judge. Lori, your statement is beyond the pale.Lori Allen _ wrote:Bridget, I believed they all probably framed her on bogus charges! I think the writer was black. Agreed... a bold and disrespectful accusation. The judge is a man of great character and integrity. It is comments like this that discredit and discourage positive discourse on the deck. It is a shame because I have always appreciated and looked forward to the incredible research presented by Ms. Allen in other threads. It would be my hope that those defamatory remarks be removed.Corey Rossen wrote:Wow, bold statement. Sometimes while striving for brevity, I sacrifice clarity. I was referring to old fashioned corruption like personal bribes, not the creative schemes described here.Brian Essi wrote:Not sure why you say "unlikely"? After all, they are lying about the money.Dan Alaimo wrote:
Corruption, as in money, very unlikely.
But I think it goes back to something very basic, something Brian illuminated when he posted the image saying, "Don't cling to a mistake just because you spent a long time making it." When it all comes out, I bet the explanation will be very close to that insight.

But a concern that shouldn't be out of bounds is that he is running for state Supreme Court and no doubt needs the campaign funds that the deep-pocketed defendants in this lawsuit could provide. Asking for reassurance about this doesn't seem disrespectful to me, but I don't know the protocol of the court system.
