Last night the AFC Cleveland Royals won the NPSL National Championship, beating Sonoma County 4-2 in Independence.
LHS alum Mike Derezic is a key member of the Royals.
The current LHS soccer team attended the game and participated in the post game celebration.
It was a wonderful night for Lakewood and all of Greater Cleveland.
