You are OBVIOUSLY way off base in your above statement.
The portion of the post you are quoting were a series of questions, not statements. I know Essi has troubles with question marks, I didn't know you had troubles as well. For future reference, "?" is a question mark which generally follows a question.

I agree, City officials should answer questions posed. They seem to have answered your questions a lot (but not enough to your satisfaction). I also notice that you and Essi are not satisfied when you pose questions that the City does not have to legally answer, or they properly answer with the legal response of "too vague" meaning that you and Essi asked bad questions (though you still whine and complain even though it was the questioning at fault and insufficient, not the City). I would hope that lawyers would know how to pose questions properly in order to get responses, it seems Essi, your lawyer, is posing questions improperly. Maybe he should watch an online tutorial to help them with his questions.

My words are useful. You just don't like the message.

Glad to see the pleasantries of people aimed at saving the hospital carry on throughout the group. Aren't you the leader of this group? Do they feed off your sharp words or are they able to insult people on their own?

Typical, and yet funny, how easily you overlook the fact that your representatives on the Deck have all but killed the online communication for an entire community. Something I'm sure you and Essi are proud of. So you can continue to fight your fight to save the hospital and ruin the community in the process. Kudos to what you both stand for, represent and portray. Saving the hospital is good intention, not sure why you want to destroy the community in the process. Keep on hating, bad mouthing others and your self-entitled elitist attitudes - I'm sure those approaches work well when dealing with others.

"Rant" over, off to try and pursue the life that you and Essi lead. Not quite sure yet how to look down my nose upon others, but I'll work on it.

Much love,
Corey

Mr. Butler has spent over $125K and a substantial amount of his professional time over the past year trying to convince a court that a taxpayer lawsuit should be dismissed because Butler thought it was "frivolous." He has "strenuously objected" i.e. whined to the court about the cost.

He has failed to get the case dismissed.

So, is he incompetent?

Is he dead wrong about the case being "frivolous"?

Or both?

A court will decide these matters, not Butler's hollow harpings being parroted on the Deck.

Corey,

It has taken me months of reading your banter to respond in a sharp manner. Your posture is one of creating chaos. I look and look for a real message in your posts and all I have seen is someone who is trying to cause trouble by distorting the truth. For your information, I am not the leader of the group. I am one of many, many professionals who are working to make Lakewood a better place for everyone. You are supporting the act of giving away the community's largest asset and destroying a hospital. Were you insulted? I am sorry you are hurt by my admonishments and I hope you feel better soon.

(by the way...were you the one that threw my brother and friend out of Rozi's last year because they were wearing Save Lakewood Hospital T-shirts? All he was trying to do was buy a bottle of wine.)

(also- try parking downtown Lakewood these days...It is EASY..even at lunch time, plenty of meters available in our deteriorating downtown district. Without the hundreds of visitors to our hospital daily, the restaurants, businesses and even the parking meters are suffering...)

Best Wishes and thanks for the love,

pam

Maybe they were buying bad wine and getting kicked out was a favor to them?

Please do some research before posting such nonsense.

Pam

I have also noticed how "dead" it is "downtown" now that the hospital is closed. Easier parking, no lines or waits in restaurants and such.

It's truly a shame and sad to see the vibrancy of the city center gone.

Unfortunately, with the timeline imposed by the Clinic and with the consent of our "leaders," there will be at least two plus years before Health Center is scheduled to open. Meanwhile, the hospital will sit empty - the eroding "bricks and mortar" that BL supporters were so fearful of.

Only after the Health Center is built and the "ER" can move will any development be able to begin on the hospital site.

It remains to be seen if the service businesses in that area can survive the loss. I expect to see some that cannot.

Thank you. Good thing it didn't autocorrect me to SNL. That would have been bad.

rossen keeps getting accused of distorting the truth. could any of you be more specific as usually he asks questions. you know questions, the sentences that end in question marks?

forget the beer, rossen, there is no way that your betters will allow it.
