Wake Up Lakewood!

The Buzz was kind of interesting in the run up to the election. Lots of new names coming and going, and debating with each other, taking opposite positions in the hospital debate. The old names gradually stopped engaging with them.

It was like watching a puppet show.

A couple of months ago those new users disappeared suddenly and the Buzz has been drying up since then.

That's the real damage that trolls can cause.

I've been there for years, but haven't commented in a long while because it's either been dominated by trolls or just been so quiet. When I started there I created a name and never felt motivated to change it to my real name. But it wouldn't be hard for someone to ID me from some of the local groups I've promoted there. Thus I wouldn't be bothered at all if that identity was revealed.

Probably there are some non-troll, substantive posters - there are still some left - who would be upset. On the other hand, there are the abusers with the multiple user names who won't be missed. It's a matter of curiosity to me to see if their identities line up with my suspicions of who they are. I'll bet it's a very small handful of people, maybe even one or two. But it's only curiosity. I don't waste a lot of mental energy on trolls.

Everytime I see someone post here about about how "mean" people are here, I have to laugh. I'm quite sure many of you at least peruse comments at other sites like the Buzz, and that cesspool Cleveland.com.

In case any of you aren't familiar with what goes on there, let me give you a little snapshot. At the Cleveland.com forums, there are several well-known characters. One poster, Wake up Lakewood, comments on virtually every article about Lakewood, repeatedly reciting a vituperative screed that Lakewood is run by a secret society and that we like decay and negativity. The Mayor and his supporters are out for blood. They had visions of millions in City assets secretly transferred to a crony foundation without public notice.

People like Brian Essie and others are seeking the truth so they must be destroyed.

They say the truth will set you free. I think in this case Mayor Summers is afraid the truth will send him and others to jai.

Sock puppet accounts were rampant - all commenting on the hospital and bashing the LO.

Curious how as of the date of the lawsuit, the "Wake up Lakewood" and "Make Lakewood Great Again" poster has stopped posting their screeds against the Lakewood Observer and Jim O'Bryan on Cleveland.com.

They must have been told to stop, too late.

That also coincides with the disappearance of a number of screen names from the Buzz.

Cleveland.com is affiliated with the Sun News. Bruce Geiselman, who I believe is one of Lord's best buddies, is the main reporter for Lakewood. If Lord said jump, I believe Bruce would say, "how high". This man , in my opinion is one of the worst reporters ever. He only reports what Lord tells him to. He will never give both sides of the story. As for local news stations, they are all sponsored by CCF, another group of Lord's friends. The news will not report on anything that would make CCF or Lord look bad.

People need to wake up and see what is going on in Lakewood. I spoke with a reporter from channel 5 the other day that told me that the Lakewood Police department does not do press releases. They believe that is why Lakewood appears to be safe, but has problems that the public should be made aware of. It appears to be yet another way for Lord to control everything, even at the cost of the safety of Lakewood's citizens, so that it doesn't ruin Lakewood's image!

Reminds me of the old saying, "Liar, liar, pants on fire"!
