I went out and snapped a few photos of revelers on the West End and on Madison.
Lots of hooting, car honking, and high fives.
Nothing violent or bad.

Lots of firecrackers and fireworks in the neighborhoods.

Big thanks to this year's team and to all the great Cavs over the years.....Austin Carr, Bill Fitch, Mark Price, Daugherty, Nance, Lenny Wilkens and more.
A special thanks to World B. Free, George Karl, and the 1985 team....they revived the sport in Cleveland.
Without them, the team would likely be gone like the Crusaders, Rockers, Force, etc.

Unconfirmed reports of 15 streakers running down Belle Avenue.

O'Bryan, Stan, and Corey currently absent from the Deck...... coincidence?

That 1st pic was my female side - in tears. Here's my male side as a lifelong baller (loved pinning balls to the backboard like Lebron did)

The most moving post game interview by J.R. Smith. When shooting for NIKE back in NYC all the semi-pro and pro players I came in contact with had good words to say about him.

In accordance with 1970s Urban Legend, Lakewood schools are closed today to celebrate the championship!
Have fun, kids....but don't expect this if the Indians ever win the World Series.

Not a coincidence. It happened.

Alex,

I like the image of you airborne soaring over Steph Curry with Gary "Love" Rice getting the assist.

It made for a perfect father's day!

Want an assist? :D

Here's an assist for you Lakewood.

You're a great city, but...

...perhaps it's time for a little penance.

A few years ago, neighborhood basketball courts in Lakewood were removed, and it would not take a great stretch of the imagination to believe that this action was but an extension of a wider issue that Lakewood had been trying so hard to either avoid, or sweep under the rug.

Last night, thank God, that perspective has changed forever.

Never EVER again should ANY suburb in Northeast Ohio or anywhere else worry about whether or not to put up a basketball court.

A young person of faith, and commitment, combining his humility, dedication to the service of others, and an unshakable confidence, has forever brought us all together, as no one in this region has ever done before.

Thank you, LeBron James.

Back to the basketball.... :D

"CAVS hangover" - New term for the Webster Dictionary, Cleveland Edition. The hangover exists, no alcohol needed. Pure Cleveland excitement followed by extreme exhaustion induced by the 2015-16 NBA Champions, Cleveland Cavaliers.

Thank you to Dan Gilbert for paying for it, thank you Cavaliers Team, for doing it, and thank you Cleveland fans for the class shown last night.

We proved once and for all CLEVELAND, we deserve the entire name!
