Parking for Motorcycles
I've noticed there are many spots along Madison & Detroit where there isn't enough room to park the average car, but would accomidate smaller motorcycles. I've seen motorcycles take up parking spots where a full size car could park, holding many passengers, where if motorcyclist had some specific designated parking, = more parking. There is a spot in front of G T Brothers Automotive another in front of the Richard Hillard House Condominiums, just to name a few, just my Lakewood Observance.

Re: Parking for Motorcycles
As a 2 wheel rider, let me state that often, motorcycles and scooters need an entire space. Most of the bigger bikes are huge, and none have reverse. You actually have to manually fit your bike into a spot by moving it back and forth while you are still on it, using your feet for propulsion. If parking spots were made smaller, a bike could theoretically fall over, injuring the rider and causing damage to cars parked in adjacent spots.
