Trolling in Lakewood Rough Waters
Despite the four foot rollers this morning, trolling was good today two miles north of Lakewood Park. Trolling east (with the wind) in 46 feet of water using No 1. 2 and 3 dipsies 55feet back at .6 mph produced the biggest fish. They were up high today.

So the future for trolling in Lakewood waters is good!!

At first I thought they were barrucudas! But alas, this is Ohio, not Belize.

Yum I can not wait to get out, but not in 4 footers. I have had enough thrills on Lake Erie.

Nice catch, what lures were you using behind the Dipsy Divers? I have a 1962 T&T 16' wood boat with a 65 horse Merc cannot go out too far.

Watermelon and pink panty spoons tipped with worms. And purple microdot crawler harnesses with glow worms. Pretty much everything was working yesterday.james fitzgibbons wrote:Nice catch, what lures were you using behind the Dipsy Divers? Nice, I like the canvas cover looks safer than being uncovered, will it stay on when a wave crashes on it.

It's just for storage. The water is about 60 degrees so the waves are very refreshing.james fitzgibbons wrote:Or is that just for storage.james fitzgibbons wrote:Nice, I like the canvas cover looks safer than being uncovered, will it stay on when a wave crashes on it.
