If my goal in incorporating the foundation was to have Corey run in increasingly smaller circles chasing his own tail, then I have already achieved my goal dizens of times over for the $125 fee.

Somebody call Gary Rice to say something nice about Corey to make him feel better.

I reall can't help him.

Here is the scoop in a nut shell for those of you that have not been paying attention for about the past year.

1. Brian Essi has started a not for profit organization here in Lakewood to help the under served. The foundation IS IN it's beginning stages.

2. Summers and council sold our hospital care to their friends at CCF for pennies on the dollar. Definition: well below market value price, REALLY CHEAP!

3. I believe this sale should be deemed illegal, as it was not done with an open bidding process which is required by law with public owned assets.

4. We get an Urgi-Care, which is being called an ER by Mary Louise Madigan. She is either ignorant or is pulling the wool over the citizen of Lakewood's eyes. I think we all know it is the latter!

5. When a legitimate foundation is started, it takes time to get funding and get the ball rolling. Perhaps some on this thread are confusing Brian's legitimate foundation with the others in the city.

6. I suggest that unless the nit pickers here would like to help Brian, they need to keep quiet. Give him a chance and see where it goes.

7. No matter how you look at it, he is still doing more for the citizens of Lakewood then Summers and council have done for a LONG TIME.

8. Nice weather. Good night for fishing.

Could you please tell me about Brian's Foundation? Thank you

Did somebody by chance, mention my name?

I can say LOTS of nice things about Corey, especially when he tries to help children with special needs. :D

Never met Brian face to face, but Mr. Essi and I have had some great telephone conversations, and while I would not always agree with him, I really would like to think that his heart's in the right place. :D

All of you in fact, I truly believe, have your hearts in the right place.

We really have to understand that people are seriously upset about any number of issues concerning Lakewood these days.

People who post on this 'Deck have one tremendous thing in common...

THEY CARE ABOUT LAKEWOOD. :!:

LET'S NEVER FORGET WHAT WE HAVE IN COMMON THAT WAY! :!: :!:

..AND...

LET'S ALSO REMEMBER THAT WHETHER OR NOT WE MIGHT AGREE WITH A POSTER, THEY ROSE UP HERE IN ORDER THAT WE MIGHT HAVE A BETTER CITY.

You have to respect that... :D

Back to the banjo... :!: :!: :!:

Thanks Gary--I'm sure your kind word had a calming effect in Corey and his friend.

I'd give Gary's post a 'like' if we were on FB.

Thank you!

I am feeling calm, almost Zen-like, yet still somewhat unfulfilled as if some questions have been left unanswered.

It would be interesting to know what Rozi's Wine House has to gain from the new development site . . .

If a question or comment is posed to a member of the self-appointed Deck Round-Table, and it is deemed necessary to avoid, redirect or ignore answering the question or comment then the Clown Car Cronies are sent out (whether directed or acting on instinct).
You seem very concerned about a private foundation with very few assets. Are you concerned about the hijacking of the Lakewood Hospital Foundation?

Bill,

It appears Corey and his freinds Jay Carson and Rick Alltricks are benefiting from the hospital closure.

I suspect that the Hospital deal has less to do with public health than it does with private gain. If the Hospital was destined to close the City could have just taken possession of the assets and been $75 million richer.

However, that would have meant the funds would be part of the general fund . Any use of thise funds would have to have been for a public purpose and open to public scrutiny.

Bill, I suspect the Passov Group was in on it from the beginning. Just consider them another extended member of the Company!
