Lakewood Health & Wellness Foundation INC.

Post by Lori Allen _ »

I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this, but can anyone explain this?

For reference purposes, the statutory agent is
person upon any process, notice, or demand and required or permitted by statue to be served upon the corporation may be served.
In other words:
This agent will be served any legal documents regarding your business entity and is responsible for sharing this information with you. As such, the agent should be chosen carefully.

Again, I'm sure there is a logical explanation for this and I am not trying to accuse anyone of anything. It is all public information (home address of agent redacted as a courtesy).

Res Ipsa Loquitor.

The purposes of this foundation are set forth in the articles and include Lakewood's underserved as beneficiaries. I am the sole incorporator and sole founding member. This has all been public since January of this year.

Summers and CCF have been secretly planning their "health and wellness" foundation for nearly 3 years now. During that time their self serving decisions and greed have resulted in diminished services to the underserved in Lakewood.

The Master Agreement and Summers make no mention of benefitting the underserved.

The hospital has been closed for 3 months now and what have they done for the underserved? Transportation? Assistance?

I will continue to work to develop possible solutions to the heathcare crisis in Lakewood. This crisis was manufactured by Summers and his Master Agreement in total disregard of the needs of underserved and of the law.

Have you been able to come up with any possible solutions to the healthcare crisis in Lakewood yet through your organization? Let's hear some ideas.

It's great that Mr. Rossen now recognizes that there is a healthcare crisis in Lakewood. Awareness and acceptance are important steps towards identifying the problem and becoming a part of the solution.

Thank you. Our foundation focuses on pediatric cardiology research, education and awareness. We also deal with heart-healthy living for children and their families to eliminate childhood obesity, which can lead to heart problems. The majority of our dealings are with research institutes and other organizations focused on pediatric cardiology. I do not think that our organization offers solutions to communities on a "hospital basis" but rather through research, education and heart-healthy living (of which we supported LiveWell Lakewood and other local groups when they were around).

Funny!

His words, not mine.

There is a crisis everywhere, hospital or no hospital. The world is not a healthy place. Heart disease, cancer, disabilities, etc - it is not isolated. These issues exist with or without hospitals.

Corey, the Lakewood Hospital Foundation has been repurposed to serve the needs of "all of Northeast Ohio". Are you even a little curious about where the $34 million dollars is going to be spent? As of 12/31/15 those assets were listed as the property of the City of Lakewood. Now they are the assets of a regional institution. ??

I wish the money to be put to good use as all people do.

Great!

How can we measure the effectiveness of your organization?

For starters, can you provide your latest 3 form 990s, a list of trustees and officers together with their salaries, the ratio of dollars given to research vs trustee and officers salaries, a list of the research institutes and oraganizations you support together with the dollars given to each and the standards you have for determining the effectiveness of the dollars given those entities.

I find it funny and insulting that you doubt or question myself or my organization. Look us up, Mr. Research. I also find it funny that you formed an organization when you saw available money out there. I did not have that approach.

No salaries to anyone. All beyond exceptional volunteers. Time, talents and efforts 100% donated.

Lakewood City Schools
American Heart Association
Lerner Research Center
Texas Children's Hospital
Flying Horse Farms
Ronald McDonald House
Etc

91% donated versus income (these numbers verified to be part of the United Way Charitible Organization and Combined Federal Campaign), the rest is office supplies (ex: posters for events), legal permits, and event expenses (ex: rental fees), etc.

Tell me about your law career, I know you have plenty of time on your hands for research, is that due to lacking clients? Tell me about your new opportunistic organization. You bore me with your arrogance and amuse me at the same time.

Who are you qualifying as the underserved?

How do you qualify yourself to determine who is underserved?

How are you allocating your spending?

Who determines where you spend your funds?

What means are you raising money to give to your determined underserved?

What is your salary?

How else are you assisting the underserved?

When and how do you plan to dispense your funds?

Yo B, why form a secret foundation in early January and not promote it? Why wait for Lori Allen to discover it and broadcast it to the masses in early June. If the goal is to help the underserved in the wood then why not promote it? Is this for an "I gotcha" moment that comes later on? What is the real motivation?

I would have thought that a guy like you would have been out in front of this breaking news.

Thank you in advance for helping the underserved in Lakewood. Better late than never B.

Love that after decades of living in Lakewood that you have decided to jump in and make a difference. Any chance you might run for mayor?

That reaction speaks volumes. I ask a few questions about the effectiveness of your organization, you don't answer them, you get real defensive and change the subject.
