My 1st time calling LPD. Construction crew working on house 2 houses south of me at 7:30 on a Sunday morning! I walked over personally to talk to the guys and then LPD showed up (2 cars, nice officers and very good response time). Much, much better than in NYC, but as my wife said as I rolled out of bed, "It was quieter in NYC on Sunday mornings than here?" So far, my experience with LPD has been top notch in every way I can remember. The one thing that really catches my attention is how professional and courteous they are. I had some bad run ins with NYPD, even those I worked with them when I did school (HS Dean in S. Bx "Fort Apache" for 10 years - I should write a book) security in NYC.

They should know better, how crude. Are contractors allowed to work in Lakewood on Sunday?
