game on

Post by vernon sendelbach »

why did lakewood move trash container a block away and bus stop bench to cordova after all these years, without confering with neighbors? Can one new business dictate City policy, without justification, since both city-owned equipment has been located at Cordova/detriot for years with no compliants or problems? Does GameOn own city politicians?

I recommend calling City Hall and asking why the stuff was moved.
They should have an explanation.

Sometimes, they do move cans for an unknown reason. However, I would not be not surprised if this was moved for Game On. I know for a fact that there are several businesses that now dictate when the city will pick up their garbage and are permitted to put it out early.

If Game On is generating that much garbage from people outside, perhaps there should be two cans, one by the bus stop and one by Game On. Better yet, Game On could provide their own outside can for their patrons.

Stupid question: What is "Game On"?

Doh! and thanks, although that's an unfortunately safe answer to "what is" about many things in Lakewood.
